Welcome To

Behind my home lies a small green world. A quiet haven where the city’s noise softens into birdsong and rustling leaves. It’s a space that breathes with the seasons. Flowers opening in the sun, petals falling like gentle rain, colours and scents shifting in a slow and graceful rhythm. Here, I find food for both body and soul. Among the flowers and winding stems. I’m reminded how even the smallest patch of earth can hold endless life, even in the heart of the city.

My front garden is a playful mix of textures, colours and shapes. All carefully arranged to create balance and harmony. I use pots of different heights and materials, which add layers of interest and make the plants stand out in their own unique way. Flowers bloom and fruit in different seasons, while many winter-green plants keep the space lively even in the colder months. Together, they form a welcoming entrance that feels vibrant and ever-changing.

My home has become a bit of a living studio. A space where art and nature meet in quiet conversation. I surround myself with house plants and miniature green worlds. From delicate Nano-Aquascapes to Kokedama and seasonal Kusamono arrangements. Each brings its own rhythm, texture and sense of balance. Japanese traditions like Ikebana inspire how I observe form and composition: How negative space, light and simplicity can speak as clearly as colour, texture and line. Tending to my plants is part of my creative process. The patience of growth, the subtle shift of light on a leaf, the gentle stillness of water. They all feed into my art. For me, caring for these living forms and creating artwork are inseparable. Both are ways of cultivating beauty, attention and connection.
