We spent a wonderful day in Muiden (NL), a place full of memories for my husband and his childhood friend. It was touching to see them wander the familiar streets where they once lived, hung out, and went to school. Each corner seemed to spark another story or burst of laughter.
We enjoyed a leisurely lunch together and later a lovely dinner, giving us plenty of time to share memories old and new. The whole day felt like a bridge between past and present, wrapped in good food, friendship and a beautiful setting.
Sometimes it’s not about seeing new places, but about returning to old ones with the people who make them meaningful.
